Let's Play FootBall Ladies!

The New York Women's Athletic League (NYWAL) was founded on August 4,2010 as an organization that seeks to promote the positive social and athletic enjoyment of women's team sports. Through our league, we seek to foster the development of community cohesion and cooperation through the fundamental principles of fellowship, sportsWomynship and athleticism. NYWAL was created to provide a place where women athletes of all orientations and skill level can come to display their love and appreciation for competitive sports. The core sport of this league will be flag football. Our goal is to offer other sports (i.e. basketball, softball and tennis) as the league continues to grow.

The New York Women's Athletic League (NYWAL) is a women’s league. This is a league for women over the age of 18, who would like to display their interest in team sports.

NYWAL is excited to partner with Aviator Sports and Event Center to bring this inaugural season of women's fall flag football back to New York City. For more information about Aviator, please select the link above or the logo in the border.
